In the clinic setting all Non- Medicare patients are billed by the clinic directly and SBI bills the clinic per exam. This results in a significant revenue generator for your clinic.
At month's end, an itemized statement is sent to your clinic listing every patient done that month, what the exam consisted of, and the cost. You are also given a copy of the individual patient charge sheet to have another opportunity to cross reference all work done at your facility.
